Why is it good to drink water after the massage?

Water is essential for healthy spine and overall body health. It helps to keep the vertebral discs hydrated, which are important components of a healthy spine. Water also aids in muscle function, helping them to contract and relax properly while providing lubrication between joints so they can move freely without pain or stiffness. 

The amount of water you should drink depends on your age, gender, activity level and other factors but generally it’s recommended that adults consume around 8-10 glasses per day (2 liters).

Drinking plenty of water throughout the day will help ensure your spinal discs remain hydrated as well as provide adequate fluid for muscles to work efficiently.


After a massage, it is important to drink plenty of water. Not only does drinking water help you stay hydrated, but it also has many benefits for your muscles, joints and brain.

First off, drinking more water helps your body flush out toxins from the muscles that have been released during the massage. This can help reduce inflammation in the area which can lead to better overall health and faster healing time if there are any injuries or soreness present after treatment. Additionally, increased fluid intake helps lubricate joints so they don’t become stiff or painful due to lack of movement or use following a massage session.

Drinking enough fluids also increases blood flow throughout your body which carries oxygen and nutrients where they need to go in order for cells and tissues to function properly – including those affected by post-massage treatments! 

Finally (and perhaps most importantly), staying hydrated with lots of fresh H2O keeps our brains sharp too! Studies show that even mild dehydration can cause fatigue as well as impair cognitive functioning such as memory recall ability – something we all want avoid when trying maintain peak mental performance levels at work;)
